That POOR Yarn

I am seriously really digging these boots I made.
They probably aren't the greatest, but they are only my second try EVER making shoes! The first time was such a fail I started crying and threw my yarn (I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID THAT... poor yarn :( ).

This time was a big success and I already have a few people after them.
These boots were one of the requests made in my give-away, which congratulations Corrie by the way!

I plan to try making everything that was suggested to me. I figure that is the best way to get more sales.

I would love to save up enough money to buy a better sewing machine. This is the second one of the Singer brands (tried to find the link but I don't think they sell them anymore! NO WONDER) that I've gotten that has gone to shit within 3 times of using it. Hopefully it's not me who is doing it... that would be embarrassing.

Anyways... something else super interesting happened to me today. My son had to go to his 1 year appointment. The pediatrician told us NO MORE BREASTFEEDING. I totally understand if you can't relate, but seriously!? I was told that breastfeeding until the kid is like 7 is the best way to help a child not to be sick, then this doctor is like "Only whole milk".
I wasn't even planning to give him COW's milk. That doesn't make sense at all.

Why would milk made for a calf be better than milk made specifically for that baby? I am baffled by this, still.
I don't think I am going to listen to the doctor. I think I'll just find a new one! One who understands why I feel I should continue breastfeeding, until Remi is at least two??

Let me know what you think about all of these things in the comments!
