More New Christmas Items

I figured I would come on here and update everyone on some more new Christmas items I have finished.
I've been checking this blog every few hours because of how many views my snowflake coaster pattern got! I've never had that many views on anything (besides my crazy YouTube videos as a kid--no, I'm not sharing).
So here are a few new things I finished today :)
Some ornaments that I hope everyone will love! ❤

Snowflake Coaster Pattern

Alright, this is my first time ever writing a pattern so there may be issues with it and if there are just comment and I will try to fix all of it.

I used Red Heart Yarn for my coasters.
Also used a G/4.25mm hook.

With white (or first color of your choosing) start a Magic Circle with 6 hdc.
Row 1: ch 2, 2 dc in first hdc, chain 2, repeat in remaining 5 hdc
Row 2: ch 2, turn, 2 hdc ch 2 2 hdc in first chain 2 spot, continue in each around (no chains in between each)
Row 3: ch 2, slip stitch into first ch 2 from row 2, ch 2 2 dc ch1 3dc in each chain 2 space from row 2 (no chains in between each)
Row 4: (change to color 2) ch1, one sc in each around, 2 sc in each corner
Row 5: ch 1, 1 sc around

Also this is the link to the packaging I used:

HELP, QUESTIONS, NEED ANSWERS

So, for the first time ever I have been asked to write a pattern.
I seriously have no idea what I am doing. I have read a lot of patterns but they are always made so perfectly, I don't want to charge someone $3 for a messed up pattern. Plus, how do I know they aren't going to buy the pattern and then resell it. I really have no idea what the heck I am doing.

I was also asked to make a video of me crocheting something so that it could be watched. Which sounds a lot easier than writing a pattern, but I don't want to make a video of something awesome for everyone else to use.

Why in the World do people write free patterns and make videos of them and such? How are you supposed to make money if you just give your product away? or is it like a push? Like if you give people a free pattern, they may notice how difficult it is OR they may come to your website to look at the pattern but see the other things you create and buy them instead?

I have SO may questions I don't understand. UGH!

If you have any answers please help me out.

Added to Etsy

I finished a few awesome projects tonight. Probably still not part of my list because what is life without a little lot of procrastination. But, here they are, listed 100% all over my ETSY and my FACEBOOK page because how can I not be super excited about them?

The two animals are Eevee (and I hope that you could guess that without me telling you, otherwise this is all extremely embarrassing). The other two items you see are sperm gender reveal bears that were requested from me! Seem like an odd match but I really think these are going to be awesome sellers. I really want to get around to making baby booties too, in hopes they will be use for gender reveals as well.

I would really love for people to share the pictures they have of their items in motion, and with permission from the photographers or from YOU to use your image to showcase my items. I really don't have the best camera nor do I have enough kids to pass around/try on my items. So please, please share if you can!

POKEMON GO-A-LITTLE-FASTER

DahDahDahDaaaaah!
Introducing this super awesome new item I decided I would try. It seriously turned out stinkin' amazing, and with the Pokemon craze going on right now it is the perfect item!
I seriously love this thing so much. I'm totally going to make one for a future child.

I'm also in the process of making an Eevee (who is not at all as easy as Pikachu was). I will also be making a super cute Charmander to add in as well. I am not planning to list these on Etsy until I have all 3 finished--so they can be purchased as a pack if someone wishes to do so. I have not used any patterns, just pictures of other people's versions of the characters.

I know these were not on my insanely long list of things to start adding to my shop, but really, how could I resist? Also, I will be adding watermarks to all of my original work from now on--I did a reverse google search and people have been using my images for their own selling!

Keep those hooks happy and looping!
